myLot Discussions | | The Elvis isn't dead and Marilyn Monroe was alive theories | | These 2 were the biggest tabloid and Internet conspiracy theories ever. There were rumors before that marilyn monroe and Elvis Presley were still alive, she was only forced to fake her death because she discovered some government top secret and they forced her to hide somewhere in the Pentagon with the men in black. Anyway in the case of elvis presley there two theories why he "faked" his death, There were speculations that he was a DEA agent, There is also a theory that he just want to have a normal life again. How do you feel about this rumors.
| | Spiritual Inspirations of How Elvis Presley Might Have Been Part II | | I began a journey through his past and probably like everyone else who has become interested in Elvis Presley, I have imagined and re-imagined how things must have been. I also think that none of us will ever know "exactly" how things must have been. I feel this especially after reading the written words about him that are conflicting in many ways. The facts of his life remain constant, but with each story teller, one has to only imagine what is told is coming through sort of like a distorted lens. For that reason every new inquiry into his life is a beginning rather than a definitive end to who this man truly was and how things really were.Finish reading this article at:

| | Spiritual Inspirations of How Elvis Presley Might Have Been Part I | | The spirit of God connects me to his past. The exact reason I believe is just to further substantiate the fact that Elvis Presley alone is not to be blamed for his so called bizarre behaviors and pill taking problems. He loved God and wanted to know about God's plan for him. As I look at photos of his childhood, I see a little boy with sparkling eyes and a fact that seems to say, "yes this is just who I am and I am very proud to be just who I am." His mother was one who was always on his side, always there with encouragement and a pure love. His success in music came suddenly from a natural talent. He didn't want the success to change him. He was troubled that his lifestyle would separate him from God.Finish reading this article at:

| | Elvis Presley's Spirituality | | In the book, Elvis by the Presleys, there is a photo of two pages from some kind of another book. I am guessing the book is one from his hairdresser or his collection of spiritual books. What struck me most about these two pages was elvis's hand written notes in the margins (and not because his actual hand wrote the notes). I read first the actual print on the pages which says, "Walk like lions, but guard the little ones, because they will help you to open my doors. Have understanding (Ritz, 2005 Elvis by the Presleys)!" Out to the side and pointing to this portion Elvis wrote, "Lion shall lay down by the lamb (Ritz, 2005 Elvis by the Presleys)."Continue reading this article at:

| | | Elvis Presley's Gospel Dream | | As many people know, Elvis Aaron Presley was born to Vernon and Gladys Presley in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8, 1935. He was the surviving twin. His parents brought him home to a two-room house barely four hundred square feet in size. His circumstances could hardly have been more humble, but he would remember and appreciate all his life the love he received from his family. His father was a hardworking man who stayed with his son throughout his life, supporting the pursuit of his dreams and, in later years, assisting with the financial oversight of his son's interests.
But it was with his mother that Elvis developed the deepest and most lasting of bonds. She kept constant watch over her son, walking him to and from school each day, even into his teenage years. He would never forget her devotion and her constancy. In many important ways, Gladys Presley's presence would make itself known throughout Elvis'life, often at moments when he was searching for guidance.
The Presleys were known to their Tupelo neighbors as a musical family. One of Elvis' earliest gifts was a guitar, purchased from a hardware store. Residents of the small...
