| | T-31 days and counting down to see George strait | | Once again, I can start my countdown to George Straight Concert, I got told I could have had surgery on my foot in the middle of this month, and I told my husband that there was NO WAY I was having surgery before the concert and not supposed to be even putting weight on my foot for a month or more.But now that it is March 4th, I am now counting down to the one thing I have been wanting to see for the past 15 years since I got into country music....to see George Strait, and I owe it to my wonderful husband that I am going to see this wonderful and incredibly talented man....The countdown is on...Are you looking forward to anything anytime soon that you are counting down?Mooch | |

I just tore off the page on my countdown calandar today, and I have to say, I'm now down to 10 more days
I can hardly wait, I hear a George Strait song on the radio, and say I wonder if I will hear this one at the concert, with over 50 number one hits, I KNOW its going to be a great show.
This is his first trip to Baltimore, and he only tours about 3 months out of the year, wouldn't that be nice if one could only work 3 months out of the year?But the countdown is on, for the George Strait Concert....

| | My countdown calendar to George STrait Concert | | Yesterday I sat here thinking about how many days I have to go to my George Strait Concert so I grabbed some used paper and use the back of it for my countdown calendar, and then I taped it to the wall,
My husband walked in last night, and couldn't figure out why these pages were taped to my wall by my computer and when he figured it out he just started laughing....he thought it was cute....
He shouldn't have been surprised that I'm doing this, its all I've been talking about since Christmas...
I'm so not into patience....

| | George STrait and Little Big town | | oh my gosh I have to say right now I'm beyond surprised, My husband got me a ticket to see George Strait in Concert...he couldnt get 2 tickest and he said I more than deserved it..I can't believe it, I'm sure they heard me scream all the way up in NJ and I can't believe it, I'm going ot see george Strait on Jan 26th...My husband will Drive me, and then pick me up after the concert---I'm gonna be on cloud 9 and a half the whole concert.Little Big Town is opening.....I've seen them, so I'm way excited...Mooch | |

| | New George Strait CD! | | Have y'all heard George's new CD? I just heard it, and man it is good!
For a while there his music was just passable, but this last CD has got a new spark in it!
You see when George first had a hit with "If you're thinking you want a stranger", there was something different than the regular country & western at that time, and I really liked it because it was something fresh to country music!
And in this last CD there is something different and fresher, than the last 20 yrs of country music and I can hear it, I really like it!
I really don't like a lot of these other new artists, they have too much rock in their country!
