| Happy Mothers Day | | Just wanted to say Happy Mommy's Day to everyone. Hope you all had a great day. I did.I woke up to "I Love You Mommy. Happy Mothers Day." from my 3 year old. A rose bush. A ring that is inscribed "Love is Patient. Love is Kind. Love Never Ends." A talking card and breakfast at Perkins Restaurant. I got a whole strawberry cheesecake and a strawberry pie to take home.We then went to AC Moore and I bought a poster frame that I've needed for about 2 years and a couple other things. We went to our local mall and I got a nine inch nails cd that I was missing from my collection. We stopped in at Gertrude Hawk and I got a small gift pack with lip balm, a vanilla scented candle and almond scented hand lotion. I also got a couple bags of roasted glazed almonds. Then it was off to Wal*mart to exchange a bowl that we had bought yesterday and to buy a couple of other things, then off to Subway for dinner. We brought that home and watched "Marley and Me" while our 3 year old cuddled with me on the couch and then we put the girls to bed. Now we're just checking a few things online then going to... | |

| Any Nine Inch Nails fans here? | | I think without a doubt, that Trent Reznor is a pure musical genious...Every single album he has put out in the last 20 years have been great, all for different reasons...Although I don't like his newest work quite as much as I liked the older releases, it's still very good music...Any other NiN fans here??? | |
| | Nine Inch Nails on tour! | | I'm so happy that my fiance suggested that I look at the NIN site yesterday, because I discovered that their tour starts in British Columbia on Friday, and then brings them to Seattle the next night! So even though it was very last minute, we bought tickets and will be seeing Nine Inch Nails on Saturday night!I'm very excited because the last time I saw them was 13 1/2 years ago, on the Downward Spiral tour. My fiance has never gotten to see them. So this is a really exciting show for us!Are you planning to see NIN on this tour?

| The newest Nine Inch Nails album, The Slip | | In case you haven't heard, you can download the newest Nine Inch Nails album,The Slip, from their website, completely for free! This seems to be the new way of making music for a number of artists--either offering the digital versions of their albums for free, or allowing their fans to set the price that they want to pay for the album, like Radiohead has done.If you've heard the new album already, what do you think of it? I personally just downloaded it this morning, so I've only heard the new single, "Discipline."If you haven't heard the new album, what's your take on this new method of artists distributing their music?

| | Nine Inch Nails giving away their latest album for download FREE | | No, this is not a Troll message, Nine Inch Nails announced that they will be giving away their latest album for free. It is now available for download on their official website www.nin.com When I first heard it on the news, I thought they must have smoked one joint too many. So I popped over to the website to check it out, and discovered the true genius behind the whole deal. In order to download the album, you have to register with a valid email, allowing the band to build a massive mailing list for future use. From what I heard, albums don't really make money for singers anyways, its the touring that racks in the cash. So Nine Inch Nails traded an album for a targeted mailing list, brilliant marketing. | |

| Nine Inch Nails Year Zero objectives get people active in government or a pictur | | Well I got the new album called Year Zero and I have gone to the numerous sites. The message seems to be a government that has a god and also controls the media. The songs points its fingers at the Bush. The album even has a number to call because it is subversive and when u call it tells u that u are under citzen survalance. Even the music video brings up things that could easily be allowed to happen I think it is ment to get people to look at the government more and to realise what can happen if u dont | |
