| Taylor Swift and award shows | | I don't know why but it seems like this award season, after every award show there is always something going on that involves Taylor Swift. This time, her manager is under attack for his defense on Taylor's less-than-stellar performance at the Grammys with Stevie Nicks. Frankly, I had forgotten about the performance until I read an article about this insane war of words. Trying to defend his client, he made a few comments that rile a few people, especially Kelly Clarkson who was quick to respond. Then of course, underneath the article were several comments from fans and non-fans telling each other to shut up and who was right and who was wrong. I don't know but it almost seems kind of ridiculous how everything always goes back to Taylor. I'm not sure if its a publicity stunt from her people trying to keep her name in circulation or the media finding the perfect target for their scrutiny- it just seems suspect to me that her name constantly pops up after award shows. | |

Alanis got hers when she was 21.I believe that Taylor swift could really be talented and she knows her stuff. Her songs appeal mostly to teens while Alanis has more of a young adult following. Pretty impressive for Alanis since she was just a year older than Taylor Swift back then.Some say that Alanis is a better songwriter than Taylor .(They do write their own songs right?)So what do you think?
